This was a fast read, The Hen weekend that went all wrong。 there were so many secrets and lies this book had it all。 I did read it really fast I had to know what was going to happen and who would die to be part of the girls trip。

This was an addictive book I could not put down。 The chapters are short and constant pushing the plot forward through revealed secrets and entanglements and it didn’t let up for even a bit。 The story follows 6 friends who have set up in an isolated ocean house in Greece for a hen party。 It’s only for four days but each of these ladies has secrets they can’t afford to reveal but being in close proximity makes it such that they may not have much choice。 The reveals are delicious and some of them I This was an addictive book I could not put down。 The chapters are short and constant pushing the plot forward through revealed secrets and entanglements and it didn’t let up for even a bit。 The story follows 6 friends who have set up in an isolated ocean house in Greece for a hen party。 It’s only for four days but each of these ladies has secrets they can’t afford to reveal but being in close proximity makes it such that they may not have much choice。 The reveals are delicious and some of them I definitely didn’t see coming。 The writing is easy, the pacing is great and I managed to enjoy every single character to the point I really started to worry if one of them would actually die because I was heavily invested in them all。 A really fun read。 。。。more

I can’t really explain why, but I just didn’t love this book。 The twists were good, and I loved how the stories of the different women were interconnected。 I think part of it was that I really care for any of the characters。

SO so so good。 I picked this up at the airport in search for a beach summer read and this book hit the nail on the head。 So many believable plot twists, a very addictive story line and very hard to put down。

This story was a wild ride。 Six women on a bachelorette party getaway that turns deadly for one of them。 Each woman has a secret and throughout the book their secrets and true selves are revealed。 It's definitely full of twists and turns。 Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the advanced reader copy。 This story was a wild ride。 Six women on a bachelorette party getaway that turns deadly for one of them。 Each woman has a secret and throughout the book their secrets and true selves are revealed。 It's definitely full of twists and turns。 Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the advanced reader copy。 。。。more

This book started off really slowly but by the time I got mid-way through I couldn’t put it down。 It was cool how these women were connected in ways they knew nothing about。 Great premise for a story!

I really enjoyed this book, it ticked off things that I love in books including being fast paced, having lots of twists and turns and being written from different character POVs。 I also enjoyed the guessing of whose body it was which wasn't revealed until the end。 Definitely recommend。 I really enjoyed this book, it ticked off things that I love in books including being fast paced, having lots of twists and turns and being written from different character POVs。 I also enjoyed the guessing of whose body it was which wasn't revealed until the end。 Definitely recommend。 。。。more

Loved the characters and the setting!!! The plot twists were uber predictable so I'd suggest don't pick this up when you want your mind blown - instead pick it up when you want a really enjoyable read with compelling characters。Also one of the few books I've read that does the multiple POV chapters well。 I really enjoyed following each character and reading their voice。Thoroughly impressed。 What a gorgeous read Loved the characters and the setting!!! I didn’t hate this book but I definitely didn’t love it。I found the story so long to get started, there are too many characters and I found the twists a bit too much, it didn’t feel real at all。 I’m glad I finished it and I can now move on!

I never write reviews only ratings。 I enjoyed the ending of the book and that’s what saved it from being a 3* but the first 300 pages of the book felt slow and dragged out。 Nothing really happened。 My mind was wandering at the possibilities but over 300 pages seem too long for that to be going on。 Wouldn’t read again and probably wouldn’t recommend to a friend。

I loved this fast paced, twisty, psychological thriller。 It was a quick read, binge-worthy, with a pretty good twist ending that reminded me a bit of Big Little Lies (Iykyk)。 This was my first Lucy Clarke book, I can’t wait to read more by her。 I loved the setting of Greece, the bachelorette party (hen do) as they call it in England。 The short alternating chapters kept the pace of the book moving。 This one kept me turning pages wondering what was going to happen at the end。 All the characters ha I loved this fast paced, twisty, psychological thriller。 It was a quick read, binge-worthy, with a pretty good twist ending that reminded me a bit of Big Little Lies (Iykyk)。 This was my first Lucy Clarke book, I can’t wait to read more by her。 I loved the setting of Greece, the bachelorette party (hen do) as they call it in England。 The short alternating chapters kept the pace of the book moving。 This one kept me turning pages wondering what was going to happen at the end。 All the characters had secrets which also made the plot line more interesting。 This had all the elements of a good thriller: lies, secrets, and one person who will unravel it all。 Definitely pick this one up if you’re looking for a quick read by the pool or the beach! This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 Considering this was 400+ page book and I read it in a day and a half shows how much I enjoyed it。 There were some twists I guessed (Bella being the nurse who caused the death of Eleanor's fiance, Robyn being queer) but I didn't see Ana's son being Ed's coming at all! Or the truth of Sam's injury! I do wish the ending hadn't felt so "Big Little Lies" but I had a great time reading this book。 The changing POVs and quick chapters had me turning pages for hours。 I was SO worried when Bella fell tha Considering this was 400+ page book and I read it in a day and a half shows how much I enjoyed it。 There were some twists I guessed (Bella being the nurse who caused the death of Eleanor's fiance, Robyn being queer) but I didn't see Ana's son being Ed's coming at all! A hen weekend in Greece, what could be a better setting for a thriller? In the end, the right person "bit it"。 I applaud this twist。To say that I really enjoyed this book is an understatement。 。。。more

I thought this books was really slow moving, there really wasn’t much that happened for a good portion of the book and then the end had a twist or two but unfortunately it was a book that I just tried to get through rather than sit back and enjoy

DNF。 I really struggled with reading this book。 I loved the concept of the story but felt like it wasn’t quite executed how I would have liked。 To me, it was dragged out quite a bit and by page 111 I had to put it down。 I love a book that switches between the point of view of different characters, but to constantly switch between 6 similar women was too much for me as I had to keep flicking back to remind myself who was who。 I’m in no way saying the book was badly written, it’s simply just not m DNF。 I really struggled with reading this book。 I loved the concept of the story but felt like it wasn’t quite executed how I would have liked。 To me, it was dragged out quite a bit and by page 111 I had to put it down。 I love a book that switches between the point of view of different characters, but to constantly switch between 6 similar women was too much for me as I had to keep flicking back to remind myself who was who。 I’m in no way saying the book was badly written, it’s simply just not my style of writing! 。。。more

What a fantastic book, loved it。 Nice to read something totally different to usual 。

This book was a cute story about a hen party, aka bachelorette party。 There were mysterious dynamics in the girl group and I was surprised the ending *went there* (check trigger warnings)

Haddie Warren

Not nearly as good as The Blue by the same author。 I will read more of her though。

The sense of setting was so good here it made me feel completely transported to Greece。 Enjoyable thriller but too many characters POVs to keep track of。
